On February 23, 2023, Humana announced that they will be exiting the Employer Group Medical business, which includes all fully insured and self-funded group plans including Go365. They have communicated that there is no need to take any action at this time and they are committed to servicing your health plans with a full exit by end of 2024. Humana intends to continue to provide employers with dental, vision and life insurance.
Humana is working with each state’s Department of Insurance to determine when the last of their renewals will be issued but they are intending to continue renewing plans through most of the 2023 calendar year which would allow most groups to continue with their Humana plans until their 2024 renewal.
