Application:

Usually a PPO or POS plan with a high deductible ($1100 for single/ $2200 for family). A "conforming" HDHP is specifically designed to fit within the IRS regulations for a health plan and enables the member to open a Health Savings Account. There is other criteria for the member to qualify for making contributions into an HSA.
