Job Posting- Customer Service Representative

POSITION DESCRIPTION

A Client Services Representative is responsible for serving clients from initial implementation of business to the annual renewal of benefits. The Client Services Representative has an important role in meeting critical proposal deadlines to ensure a timely and smooth transition during a customer’s implementation with a new carrier and/or annual open enrollment period. This role will be responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of carrier and industry changes and being a key point of contact between carriers and Business Benefits Insurance Solutions.  

Essential duties include:

• in-depth plan analysis and proposal generation for all different lines of coverage, plan submission to carrier(s) for new business, 
• processing enrollments, changes and on-boarding, 
• maintaining employee changes through enrollment technology, 
• resolving customer inquiries and claims analysis, audits, and appeals, as well as
• maintaining a strong relationship with carriers, producers and account representatives to assist with escalated customer service issues.

Additional duties include:

• being a front- line resource for clients,
• managing deadlines,
• answering phones, faxes, and emails, as well as
• updating files, and logs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong customer service background 
• Pleasant attitude
• Ability to work with others
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Obtain & maintain Health & Life Insurance license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
