Working together for stronger, healthier babies

Posted on

April is March for Babies month. The mission of the March for Dimes March for Babies is to help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies. Each year more than 450,000 babies are born premature.  In 2013 Kentucky and Ohio received a C on their premature birth report card meaning they have a premature birth rate of more than 12%.  Help March of Dimes decrease the premature birth rate by participating in the Greater Cincinnati/NKY March for Babies on April 27, 2014 at Paul Brown Stadium. Anthem, UHC, & Humana also offer healthy pregnancy programs to their members to assist moms in carrying their baby full term.  We encourage employers to make employees aware of these programs.   For more information about March of Dimes click here or to participate in our local March for Babies walk click here.
