Most Employers Unlikely to Send Employees to Exchanges

Although the environment is changing with the development of new exchanges created by the Affordable Care Act, new research by Towers Watson/National Business Group on Health (NBGH) show that employers remain committed to providing active employee health care benefits.  According to findings from the annual Employer Survey on Purchasing Value in Health Care, a clear majority of employers are unlikely to direct employees to health insurance exchanges starting in 2014.  However, employers are responding to changes from health care reform with more aggressive actions to improve health care delivery and manage rising costs of care.   Read More…
